Boris Samarinov is a musician who works also as a secretary at Community Center “Vassil Levski” 1928.
Community Center "Vasil Levski" 1928 is located in the third largest district of Sofia - Poduyane . Contrary to expectations, the modernized community center offers wonderful opportunities for creative and cultural entertainment for children and adults. Visitors can read books, sing, dance and play various musical instruments.
The "conductor" of this creative plot is Boris Samarinov. Boris is a musician who also works as the secretary of the Community Centre. Thanks to a number of initiatives and projects, he and his team have been able to make real miracles come true, one of which is supporting children from vulnerable groups to go back to school. Every day they are trying to break people's perceptions, doing more outdoor concerts to be closer to the local community and to present to a larger audience the activities that are implemented in the community center's creative groups and classes.
Boris is one of the 60 young people who participated in the WCIF's Initiative. With a song and a guitar in hand, in the video below Boris breaks our perceptions about the state of community centers in Bulgaria.
The Project Initiative for building the next generation of civic leaders is implemented with the financial support of Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway under the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria within the framework of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area.
