Module 1: Global Issues and Identification of Adequate Local Solutions. This training module will increase the practical skills of participants to analyze the challenges facing the community, for which they work, to identify opportunities for development and to formulate organizational goals that will improve the contribution of the NGO to achieve "the Millennium goals". Participants will be familiarized with the methodology "design thinking," which will simulate the most successful approaches to achieve the chosen objectives. Thematic assignments: • Evaluation of community needs in the framework of the “Millennium goals". Selection of priorities on which the organization shall work in order to contribute to the community development; • Evaluation of the organization /self-assessment/ and identification of objectives leading to organizational sustainability; • Developing a plan to achieve the organization objectives and changing the environment by involving citizens in the community and developing partnerships.

Module 2: Mission-Driven Fundraising and Financial Sustainability Planning. This training module will introduce the trainees with effective fundraising methods and techniques used by NGOs with clear ethical standards, transparency and accountability.

• Thematic assignment: To develop a fundraising plan for a concrete organization in compliance with its mission and objectives.

Module 3: Strategic Communication for changing stereotypes and overcoming of conflicts. Organizations that work for protecting the rights of vulnerable groups are confronted with one specific problem: the negative stereotypes and attitudes toward their target groups, shared by both the society and the government, which is an obstacle to achieve its organizational goals. This training module will present current approaches for strategic communication, which help to change the point of view of people from the so-called. "movable middle" – people who don't share the extreme views associated with a particular group of the population and can be attracted as allies. Strategic communication is an important element of advocacy campaigns. The module will acquaint trainees with methods for planning and realization of effective advocacy campaigns.

• Thematic assignment: To develop a strategic communication plan; implement a test campaign for key messages; adapting key messages and implementation of information campaign aimed at the "movable middle".

Module 4: Impact Assessment and Scaling Up the Desired Impact. This thematic module will acquaint trainees with methods for assessing the impact of the work of NGOs, including an assessment of the impact of information communication and advocacy campaigns carried out by their organizations. Trainees will participate in a workshop to develop a plan to assess the impact, determine the indicators and ways to measure them.

• Thematic assignment: To develop individual impact assessment plan for a concrete organization; test the plan in assessing the impact of a concrete campaign (carried out as part of the thematic assignment under Module 3); analysis of the results of the evaluation and planning future activities for improving the impact of activities undertaken by the organization.
