This weekend in Sofia, an interesting training on Design Thinking method will be held for the participants in the second edition of the 'Initiative'. This will be their first in-person training since the start of the program so far. Future leaders from non-governmental organizations will get a closer look at the possibilities that Design Thinking offers. It is an innovative method for solving complex problems, which generates many new ideas and involves a creative, strategic, cognitive, and practical approach.

The meeting is organized in partnership with Monica Kovachka-Dimitrova, Program Director at the global technology leader SAP Labs Bulgaria, who will lead the training along with Iliyana Nikolova, Executive Director of the "Workshop for Civic Initiatives" Foundation.

The training is part of the second edition of the project "Initiative for Building a Future Generation of Civic Leaders" by the "Workshop for Civic Initiatives" Foundation (WCIF). The project is implemented with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM) 2014-2021, financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
