With the arrival of autumn, the training meetings within the second edition of the Initiative resumed. The topic of the last meeting on October 5, 2022 was "How to conduct webinars?" and was inspired by the time when online meetings had become part of everyday work for people in the NGO sector due to the spread of the coronavirus worldwide. Although things have now normalized, this does not exclude the need for online meetings and training in certain situations. Moreover, meetings in digital platforms allow us to reach a larger audience with whom we can articulate our messages and seek new like-minded people, conduct training, improve the skills of the people we work with, and so on.

Iliyana Nikolova, the Executive Director of the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF), presented a presentation on the topic, along with sharing the experience of the Foundation, accumulated over the last 2 years and beyond. She discussed the possibilities for the meetings we conduct to be more attractive and the audience more involved.

On November 2, the second part of the training was held. Simona Bondikova, who is part of the team of the Foundation, talked about the technical features of organizing online meetings.

Not surprisingly, almost all of the youth leaders shared some previous experience with participating in online meetings. At the same time, non of the participants in the meeting have ever organized one by themselves and said that the trainings were very useful for their future working plans.

The project "Initiative for building a future generation of civic leaders" of the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF) is implemented with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM) 2014-2021, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
