The 30 participants who will join the second group of the Initiative for Building a Future Generation of Civic Leaders have been selected.
The participants come from organizations with different fields of activity: environment, vulnerable groups, empowerment of girls and women, sports causes, education, youth policies, youth work and others.
The participants were selected by the team of the Civic Initiatives Workshop Foundation according to the following criteria: compliance with formal requirements, assessment of motivation for development in the sector and preference, English language proficiency, management experience. The selection of participants also took into account whether the applicant is a representative of an NGO from a disadvantaged geographical area and / or an NGO set up by representatives of vulnerable groups. After evaluation of the received applications, all candidates were informed about the results of the competition.
The initiative for building a future generation of young leaders is implemented by the Workshop for Citizens' Initiatives Foundation (WCIF) and aims to help develop a new generation of civic leaders in Bulgaria with knowledge and skills to work effectively in a shrinking space for civil society and limited resources.
