The founder of the "Ecological Manifesto - ManEco" Foundation and a participant in the second edition of the Initiative* project, Vihren Mitev, has launched a series of educational workshops called "Climate Fresco." From March 12 to March 19, 2023, Vihren Mitev, along with representatives from the ManEco Foundation, were in Varna to organize the first series of Climate Fresco workshops with students from schools in the city and region, as well as young people between the ages of 14 and 28.

A total of 130 students and 37 young people participated in the workshops. Two of the young people were trained to be new facilitators for the educational workshop. In addition, the network of organizations in the field of ecology has been expanded, and they will continue to work together in the future. The Climate Fresco educational workshop is a team game with 42 cards, each of which explains a factor related to climate change. The fresco consists of four parts - a team game with cards, a presentation on the topic of climate change, a discussion, and generating ideas for dealing with the consequences of climate change.

Thanks to the game, the participants go through an exciting process that helps them discover the connection between the causes and effects related to climate change, explain all the geophysical and social consequences that occur, and are encouraged to seek possible solutions to the crisis. The duration of each game is three hours.

You can learn more about the Climate Fresco game from Vihren's interview on the "Before Noon" show at the following link.
