Petar Bodurov is a participant in the project Initiative for Building the Future Generation of Civic Leaders, funded by the EEA Active Citizens Fund. He is the founder and chairman of the "Podobri” (Improve) Foundation and the "Shumen Municipal Youth Council". He has more than 5 years of experience in the youth sector behind him, working hard to promote youth volunteering and entrepreneurship in the city of Shumen and creating opportunities and spaces for young people.
Among the successful projects that he has coordinated are: the Youth Sphere Project, the Youth Volunteer Academy and Able Mentor - Shumen.
Peter also shared with us some of the activities he organized together with the rest of the Foundation's team during the unprecedented crisis.
About Municipal Youth Council – Shumen:
"We heeded the call of the authorities and the #StayHome campaign and, given the impossibility of organizing outdoor events, we decided to create educational and engaging content in several areas: informal learning, sports, dance and various "household"activities.
We organized a series of webinars "21st Century Skills" in the field of non-formal education.

Another initiative we have started is #homewithOMS - We publish short videos to motivate people to make the most of their free time through sports, dance, cooking, etc.
