Starting from tomorrow, 5th of October begin the online trainings for the 30 participants in the Initiative. The first training will be on the topic: "Communications and work with electronic media". The topic of communications in the work of the civic organizations was identified as the one that requires most learning during the first face to face training in Sofia.

The first online meeting will enable participants to improve their communication skills with media representatives and create content that can be noticed and reflected upon by reporters. The leading lecturer will be journalist Maria Cherneva. The learners will be able to apply what they have learned in practice during the assignment they will receive at the end of the training seminar. The lessons learnt in the field of working with electronic media will be upgraded during the planned second webinar on the same topic, where Maria Cherneva will give feedback on the assignments from the first one.

Within two years (2019 – 2021) the Initiative aims to build the new generation of civic leaders to work effectively in an environment of shrinking civil society and limited resources

The project "Initiative for building the future generation of civic leaders" is implemented with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund for Bulgaria under the financial mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM) 2014 – 2021, financed by Iceland , Liechtenstein and Norway.
