A new Webinar was held on 11 June as part of the Initiative's programme. The theme of the edition was "Crisis Communications". This is an interesting and fundamental topic for any organization. Advance preparation and planning for potential crises are beneficial to the security and the organization's ability to deal with problematic situations. The issue of proper and timely communication with audiences is really important and should not be neglected because it can prove detrimental to an organization's reputation at some point.

The guest speaker Nelly Banova, who is a professional communicator, shared detailed information from her experience in the field of communications. She gave a presentation with rich theory on "Communication in the context of problem and crisis management". Nelly sent out preliminary questions to the participants as part of the preparation for the Webinar, and gave feedback on the answers she received during the meeting. Participants were asked to share an example of a crisis situation they had successfully (or not) overcome with their organization and to tell about a problem they had (or had not) been able to solve with communication skills.

Finally, further questions from the participants were discussed.

The training is part of the project "Initiative for building the next generation of civic leaders" implemented by Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF). The project is implemented with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA Financial Mechanism) 2014-2021, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
