During the state of emergency and lockdown, online meetings and events became a daily routine for many NGO activists. The inability to meet in person created a need to organize Webinars to support interaction between organizations and their audiences. At the same time, the promotion of increasingly innovative communication platforms on the internet has made the implementation of such a Webinar much easier.
This is one of the main reasons for choosing the topic "How to do Webinars?" for the fifth edition of the Initiative, which took place on 28 May - Thursday. The meeting was moderated by the Executive Director of WCIF, Iliyana Nikolova and the Director of Donor Programs, Simona Bondikova. They provided valuable guidance related to the overall process of organizing a successful Webinar - from preliminary preparation to its implementation.
At the beginning of the meeting Simona shared some basic features of Zoom, which is convenient for both conference calls and webinars. And later Iliyana presented the "How to do webinars?" guide, created by the partner platform for technology donations, TechSoup.
The training is part of the project "Initiative for building the next generation of civic leaders" of Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF). The project is implemented with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM) 2014-2021, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
