Since she was a child, Radostina Slavkova knew that she wanted to be involved in environmental protection. After graduating from school, she enrolled in the Ecological Economics program at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE).

In 2012 she became a volunteer in "Za Zemjata" (For the Earth) - one of the oldest environmental organizations in Bulgaria. Currently, she is a coordinator of the Energy and Climate team and of the Youth For the Earth group. She works in different areas, within which she and her team strive to promote and share information on environmental issues, to give publicity to a variety of problems, but also to their solutions.

Radostina is a participant in the first edition of the WCIF Initiative. That's what she shares about her experience there:

"Working with a mentor from the environmental sector gave me very valuable insight, both into solving day-to-day problems in the work and on the bigger things like setting a strategy, goal and target setting and how to use a variety of tools and techniques to translate our messages and demands to those in power."
