At the beginning of March, a second training webinar was held for the participants in the second edition of the Initiative for Building a Future Generation of Civic Leaders. The topic of the meeting was "Leadership and Management of NGOs", and the speaker - Krassimira Velichkova, ex-former executive director of the Bulgarian Donors' Forum with many years of experience in the NGO sector and current advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Kalina Konstantinova on civil society development.
One of the highlights of the training was the conversation about the "Standards for Good Governance of NGOs", created by the Civic Initiatives Workshop Foundation. The participants were given a task after the end of the meeting to review the Standards and think about what they think are the challenges, so that they do not apply all the Standards (in case they do not apply some of the Standards) within their organizations.
